Well, the Christmas holiday (holy day) is now history once again and maybe life will (sort of) calm down to a low roar of minor chaos. I can only hope.
Not much writing was accomplished during the past three weeks, but the van must think we have become gypsys!
Book three may have a title now, but I’m not revealing it just yet, and chapter four is under way. A major sub plot came to me in a dream the other night. REALLY! I’ve had a lot of dreams that I wanted to write into books, but this one HAS to be done!!!! It is soooo cool, and I can’t even claim it! But I surely can use it!
Sales of the other two books has been really encouraging this fall, I also sent a copy of “Lonely” to a noted singer/actor for his revue, I hope it brings some results. I would love to see it in a movie or a TV two-part series. Wouldn’t THAT be crazy?
I’m in a writers’ group that includes fellow White Feather Press authors Mary Mueller and Josh Clark and we have been challenging one another. Not just the three of us, but all of the writers – they are a wonderfully gifted and diversified group of great folks.
My dear friend, Becky Steingas has been gracious enough to invite me to her and hubby Les’ place to ride one of their Tennesee Walkers! How great to “be back in the saddle again” !! They have two fine steeds, a mare and a gelding, and what a joy they are; a little bit mischeivous but good trail riders and calm as can be under fire. I’m very pleased to have Les & Becky as my friends, not just because of the horses, but just for who they are. Fine folks!
